Original Silver Bitex RAR8 Rear hub and RAF16 for J-Bend spokes.
A nice pair of modern hubs with the ability to use modern 9, 10, 11 and 12 speed cassettes on traditional steel frames spaced at 120mm OLD or 126mm OLD (Neo Retro builds)
Silver (with black end caps) RAF16 front hub. OLD 100mm, hole for 5mm skewer. 24 or 28 holes. 116 grams  2x6000 bearings
Silver RAR8 rear hub.
OLD 120mm. 10mm axle, hole f
or 5mm skewer. 28 Holes
. 202 grams. 3x6802 bearings + 1x6902 bearings.
This RAR8 rear hub can also be delivered in OLD 126mm with a black left cap normally used to respace 130mm to 135mm and an additional 1mm spacer.
The flanges are narrowly spaced and the dish on such a wheel is high so it is crucial to build such wheels with an asymmetric rear rim for better wheel balance and strength.
Please specify which spacing you want.  See picture and make sure you are Ok with the black left end cap!!!
Note:
120mm OLD rear spacing is suitable for traditional frames from the 60's and 70's that used to have old 5 speed freewheels
126mm OLD
rear spacing is suitable for traditional frames from the 80's that used to have old 6 and 7 speed freewheels
and early 7 speed cassettes

1) Shimano compatible for 11 speed, 10 speed with the supplied spacer.
2) Campagnolo compatible for 9, 10, 11 and 12 speed.

his is a light road straight pull offering from Bitex machined out of the superior Aluminum 7075 alloy

1. It uses a simple easy to service design.
2. It uses a light-weight Al 7075 Freehub which uses the Bitex patented 6 pawls technology working in 2 sets of 3 with an angle
offset between the two sets to deliver 48 engagement points per rotation for rapid re-engagement from freewheeling.
3. For the Shimano 10/11s HG compatible free-hub, the light aluminium freehub is protected by a patented thin anti-bite stainless steel strip so that your cassette cogs will not dig into the alloy, become hard to disassemble and leave ugly marks into the freehub.
4. We use high quality Taiwan made TPI steel bearings (also used by DT Swiss)
